Partnerships

Healing Horizons for FND welcomes calm, collaborative partnerships with organizations that support children, youth, adults, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals across Canada.

We approach partnership with care, respect, and intention. Prioritizing accessibility, safety, and meaningful impact over speed or scale.

Thoughtful partnerships allow us to reach more families, reduce barriers to support, and bring gentle, FND-informed education into schools, clinics, and communities.

Collaboration strengthens our ability to create sustainable, trauma-informed resources and support systems that truly serve people living with FND and those who care for them.

  • Healthcare providers – clinics, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counsellors
  • Schools and educators – teachers, learning teams, school boards, and student supports
  • Community organizations – youth programs, disability services, and wellness initiatives
  • Nonprofits and agencies – chronic illness, neurology, and mental health organizations
  • Researchers and universities – FND education, awareness, and knowledge sharing
  • Local and national networks – community health and advocacy groups

Through partnership, organizations may access:

  • Clear, accessible explanations of Functional Neurological Disorder
  • Age-appropriate coping tools for children, teens, and adults
  • Guidance toward FND-safe support models as programs launch
  • Resources for caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals
  • Opportunities for collaborative community and education initiatives

We welcome calm, low-pressure conversations about working together.

If your organization is interested in collaboration, shared initiatives, or future partnership opportunities, you are welcome to reach out.
