About Healing Horizons for FND (HHFFND)

Healing Horizons for FND is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, youth, adults, seniors, and families living with Functional Neurological Disorder. Our work focuses on connection, education, advocacy, and programs that help people feel understood, supported, and empowered in their everyday lives.

What We Do

We focus on practical, meaningful supports that make a difference, including:

  • peer-led and facilitated support groups
  • educational resources written in accessible language
  • programs that build coping skills and resilience
  • caregiver guidance and connection
  • outreach, advocacy, and collaboration across Canada

Our initiatives will continue to grow as the community grows.

Why Our Work Matters

People living with FND often struggle to access coordinated care, clear information, and emotional support. HHFFND was created to fill those gaps, bringing together lived experience, compassion, and evidence-informed guidance.

We believe that when people understand FND and feel supported, hope becomes possible, and quality of life improves.

How We Operate

HHFFND is guided by principles of transparency, collaboration, and respect. We work with volunteers, advisors, professionals, and community members across the country to ensure programs are safe, inclusive, and grounded in best practice.

As we grow, our commitment remains the same: Serve the FND community with care, integrity, and accountability.
